Passing faith to pastors’ kids [video]

Video interview with Doug FieldsLast week I had the opportunity to sit down with Doug Fields and tap into his wisdom. As a guy who’s been serving the church, both locally and globally, and has raised a family that hasn’t walked out on God, I had to ask him about how he did it and what advice he has for other ministry families who are raising kids in the church.

“How can those of us who are serving in the church and new to parenting instill a faith into our kids that lasts as they grow up?”

As much as we all hate it, pastors’ kids have a reputation for ditching God and the church as they grow older. That’s part of what this site is all about. It was great to hear Doug’s advice on this and I may expound on it in the upcoming weeks.
